I really enjoy coming to this place. My stylist Karina is attentive and nice to me. I was able to make an appointment early and she was done within a reasonable time. She colored my hair, washed and blow dried it. This is my fourth time coming. Prices are reasonable. The salon is beautiful. I would recommend for people to come here.
Loved my blow out. Come to New York from South Carolina and the price was great mine was $35.00 and my daughters was $45.00. We was in and out. My daughter and I went to get our hair done. I was happy. I recommend this salon.
I’ve been going to this hair salon for years. I go typically twice a year to get a layered bob, sometimes 3 times per year if I decide to get my hair dyed or something. I’ve never paid more than $50 for a wash and haircut. I went there tonight and I got the most basic hair cut. It was just a blunt cut straight across. Spent a short amount of time in the chair and got charged $67, and this was before tip. Only thing extra that was done was that she blow dried and flat ironed the hair. I’ve gotten way more service and spent less there. Idk what happened. But needless to say tonight will be the last time I go there. It’s sad because they’re always so nice, but I can’t pay $70 for basic trims.
Morena was great! She gave me the copper highlights that no one at other salons were able to do for my hair. Other salons couldn’t deal with my curly think hair and highlights would come out either more red or blondina/grey. Morena had a very great personality too. I texted her for an appt. and was attended to right away when I arrived. She cut my hair in layers just like I wanted.

This place has evil stylists here. I had a bad experience here. They're just disgusting creatures and mounds to me. I don't like them at all. The lady acted as if she was gonna take my head off and I was about to take her face off. She was not much of a stylist more an imposter.
Olga does a good job blowdrying the hair. My hair is thick and curly, and it comes out beautiful and healthy after she is finished.
Yvelisse Salon looks like an elegant and luxurious salon but don't let that fool you. Certain stylists will overcharge you for services you didn't even ask for. This review is based on multiple disappointing experiences so potential customers are aware.
A few months ago I walked in asking for a layered haircut, NOTHING ELSE. I was helped by a stylist who cut my hair, dried it and proceeded to curl it, a service I didn't ask for. She charged me $50 which is way too much. It's understandable if I asked for the wash but I didn't. I paid but I was not happy because she was hiding the sloppy haircut with the curls.
Recently, I decided to give this salon another chance and made sure I emphasized HAIRCUT ONLY. I asked for a long layered haircut and everything seemed to be fine. This stylist charged me $20 of what the other stylist charged me. I got home and I had a chance to see my hair.... I was speechless. My hair is a choppy mess. The layers aren't even cohesive. This haircut is not even worth $20. Honestly, I don't recommend this salon at all. No one has provided quality service and they will rip you off.
BTW: The fourth picture is the bad layered cut (which I got unfortunately) compared to what I wanted, a beautiful layered cut. Save yourselves the frustration and don't waste your money here.
